A vibrant new online bingo brand

We have a strong pedigree in working with gaming clients. From betfair to blue square we have worked with many of the big names in online gaming and sportsbook betting. So when Global Click (owners of Roxy Palace Casino) were looking to create and launch a completely new bingo site they chose to work with Clicked.
Our approach
By researching the market in depth and using our extensive understanding of the online gaming environment we worked with Global Click to help define the audience for the new brand. We wanted to ensure we would create a brand that would resonate with the target user and create a fun, memorable playing environment that would stand out in an increasingly crowded marketplace. In addition we wanted to ensure the brand would translate to a global audience.
A fun, memorable brand
Bingo is a fun, vibrant, sociable game so we wanted to create a brand that reflected this – that’s why we chose dotty bingo. The name is strong, simple and playful and gives us loads of visual hooks to reference (such as bingo balls, bingo stampers and bingo cards) and the classic polka dot pattern is a simple way to brand and own any advertising or promotion activity. The strong visual nature of the brand translates seamlessly across different territories.
A simple to use website & gaming lobby
The dotty bingo website runs on the Microgaming platform and we focused on developing the best possible playing experience by designing and testing every variance of the lobby. In addition, we created the site architecture and design for the rest of the site to be as simple as possible to ensure the user can play in the fewest possible clicks.
Effective bingo email retention campaign
As with any good gaming operation, acquisition is only part of the challenge. Once a player has signed up we want to give them lots of reasons to keep coming back and stay loyal to dotty bingo. To drive this retention programme, we planned and produced a full eCRM campaign with Dotty to ensure their players stay on their site and play for longer.
Dotty bingo direct response TV ad
Once the website was fully tested and live we created an offer driven, direct response TV advert. The ad received response rates 25% better than forecast and ran for an extended period of 6 months due to its success in signing up new players.
The results
6 months on from our initial meeting with Global Click and we have created an exciting new brand from scratch and launched it to the public getting fantastic sign ups from just a single piece of above the line activity. Dotty has been well received amongst players and the industry alike and we continue to work with Global Click on further Dotty promotional activity and some of their other brands, Roxy Palace Casino and Casino Splendido.
