DK commissioned Clicked to help promote their new travel website in conjunction with the launch of the 100th ‘Eye Witness Travel Guides’ (EWTG). The new site included functionality that allowed users to create their own bespoke travel guides including personalised content which they could share with friends and family.
Clicked created an engaging competition mechanic where players could win their ‘dream trip’ up to the value of £10,000. The DK Dream Trip consisted of the covers of all the Eye Witness Travel Guides in a grid. Users could roll over and select up to 5 destinations to create their dream holiday. Each place had it’s own ‘value’ in tokens with an overall allowance for the trip. Once the user had chosen their trip, they were driven through to the new website to find the answer to a question specific to the site content.
