Clicked were commissioned to wireframe, design and build one of the most important properties in the Kiss online portfolio – the new flagship online media player. The Kiss brand is synonymous with cutting edge urban music, so a key directive was that the new media player reflected the brand’s modern, fresh look as well as showcasing its market-leading multimedia content in a simple, accessible way.
The keys to the success of the Kiss Kube were usability and flexibility. That’s why we went through several rounds of wireframing to ensure that Kiss listeners would get a quality user experience and the client would get a media player that could be updated with fresh content minute-by-minute, as well as re-skinned quickly and effectively for any potential sponsorship takeovers.
The design phase of Kiss Kube was a continuation of Clicked Creative’s development of the fresh, new look and feel of Kiss online. The design directive was simplicity, ensuring the quality content and seamless functionality took centre stage. The finished player is testament to excellent planning and modern, understated design.
