The Carphone Warehouse has over 10,000 staff in the UK and around 3,000 of those work at offices located throughout Britain. Clicked were commissioned to create an internal campaign and accompanying microsite to encourage Carphone employees across the entire Carphone group to find alternate methods of transport to work. The plan was to promote a move away from single car occupancy and encourage employees to take public transport where possible.
We came up with the concept of ‘Things you’d enjoy if you weren’t in your car…’. This would be a series of posters to be displayed across Carphone group offices reminding employees of the variety of benefits (fresh air, less stress, exercise, cost savings) of leaving their cars at home. Once employees reached the site, they could search by their location and explore various incentives and useful information to help their transition from commuting by car to an alternate means of transport.
