Objectives
Capital Spreads required a a strong Q4 advertising campaign to run across online and offline media and promote the brand and increase acquisitions. Financial spread betting is a highly congested market, so it was imperative that we came up with a strong, unique angle to build the campaign around.
Solution
After looking at Capital Spreads’ selling points (and what their competitors were doing), we decided to focus our creative around their suite of educational tools.
We created the ‘Learn to Spread Bet’ campaign, which encouraged customers to try financial spread betting with Capital Spreads. The message was focussed on reassuring users that they had access to great educational tools, and top level customer service – as well as the tightest spreads in the market.
We decided on a simple graphical ‘fridge magnet’ execution that was visually arresting and reflected the easy to understand learning tools that they campaign was promoting.
