Disney :: Bear in The Big Blue House
Objectives
Based on the successful Disney Channel programme ‘Bear in a Big Blue House’, the client was looking for a series of interactive, educational games that would encourage users to spend time on the Disney Channel website. The challenge for us was deciding how to combine brand, interactivity, repeat traffic and educational elements into simple to use fun games for young children.
Solution
‘Help Bear Bake’ is a highly visual, engaging game concentrating on key literacy skills, whilst helping Bear bake a crazy personalised cake from colourful ingredients. Not only are the users encouraged to read and type, but they get to see the way that a cake can be baked in the kitchen.
‘Pots and Pans, Clap Your Hands’ focuses on key coordination skills, combined with colours and sounds. Users click the mouse on the pots and pans hanging above bear’s head to make different notes
