The Carphone Warehouse :: Back 2 School
Objective
Clicked were asked to create a series of banners as part of The Carphone Warehouse’s ‘Back To School’ campaign.
The banner campaign was split in two. One objective was to appeal to the kids themselves, attracting them to upgrade or purchase the latest handsets for school. The other was to target parents, highlighting the security benefits of their children having mobile phones for school.
Solution
Using the offline creative as a starting point, we employed the client’s signature ‘Mowbli’ characters to differentiate the 2 creatives. Starting with the parent offer, we animated a parent Mowbli and various ‘kid-sized’ Mowblis and for the older kid message, we animated aspirational Mowblis and used a younger, more appealing ‘text-speak’ copy angle.
