The Carphone Warehouse :: Students

Objective
The Carphone Warehouse was looking to introduce a series of new deals aimed specifically at the student market. They wanted a fully branded landing page, strapline for the campaign as well as some added value content aimed at keeping students on the site longer.
The campaign tone was designed to be humorous and inclusive, rather than condescending and stereotyping the target market.

Solution
Clicked produced a campaign entitled ‘Student deals worth getting out of bed for!’ We focussed on incorporating the individuality of students with The Carphone Warehouse strapline ‘Your Phone, Your Way’. We came up with a series of student Mowblis, who were given a variety of interests (e.g. Arty, Muso and Techie) and the Mowbli directly related to specific phone types.
We created ‘Your Mowbli, Your Way’ - a game where the user can generate their own unique Mowbli for download (as a profile pic or a mobile phone wallpaper) or print as well as ‘Mowbli Madness’ a highly addictive game where the user has to manoeuvre a student Mowbli through all the perils of a student’s day from their halls of residence to The Carphone Warehouse!
