The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors website
Objective
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors was looking for a new website with upgraded information architecture and design in order to cater for the broad range of users that visit the RICS site. Due to the nature of RICS’ business, there was a huge amount of unstructured data that needed to be consolidated into a readily accessible format.
Solution
Clicked evaluated the existing site structure and subsequently completely revised the information architecture. We then produced a comprehensive series of wireframes and established a series of core templates that made up the basic structure of the new site. The templates were designed with a focus on reinforcing the RICS brand and aiding the user journey. We also produced the CSS & HTML for templates and worked with RICS in-house developers to integrate the templates with the existing RICS CMS.
Alex Langley, Business Analysis Leader for RICS, said of the project:
“For the RICS project, I was looking for a ‘safe pair of hands’ to help me with the complete redevelopment of rics.org. Clicked Creative were invaluable in the IA and design processes, working seamlessly with RICS in-house developers to produce an excellent end product.”
